It takes a lot of courage and humility to admit that you need help and seek it. I'm here to make this process of getting help easy.

I'm here to listen, and I'm different because I'm committed to providing a nonjudgmental environment. I'm a board-certified licensed clinical social worker dedicated to providing exceptional care. I have an innate ability to establish rapport quickly, build trust, interact with, and relate to individuals on all levels. I graduated with my Master's in Social Work from the University of Central Florida. In addition to my training, I have 12+ years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families.

I have been married for 12+ years with three beautiful children. My own experiences of discovering the secret to contentment and happiness have put me on this mission to advocate and help others improve their lives.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, music, and exercising.

Laura Roland
LMHC Therapist

Hello, I have been in the counseling field since 2004. I obtained my first Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2007. I obtained a second Master's degree in gerontology in 2019. I also received my Florida state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in 2019. Since then, I have continued my education by becoming trained in Complex PTSD, Telehealth EMDR, and I am a Certified Informed Sexual Professional. Other modalities I use frequently are CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Jungian, Mindfulness, Trauma-Focused CBT, and person-centered therapy, to name just a few. I specialize in Trauma, abuse, anxiety, relationship issues, and women's issues. I have a very warm, direct, and open approach. Therapy is hard work, and I work best with clients who are committed to putting in the hard work to heal. I also ask challenging questions to look at a different perspective and make connections from the past and how that has impacted our negative thoughts, actions, and behaviors today.
